# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It requires no stove, no oven, and practically no skill, just patience while it sits in the fridge.
  • The mango layer tastes like sunshine, especially when limes are involved.
  • You can make it the night before and wake up to breakfast that feels fancy but took you ten minutes.
02 -
  • If you skip the thirty-minute stir, the chia seeds will settle into a dense layer at the bottom and the top will stay watery.
  • Mangoes vary wildly in sweetness, so always taste your puree before layering it in. You can't unsweeten it later.
03 -
  • Use a jar with a lid for the chia pudding base so you can shake it instead of stirring, it mixes faster and more evenly.
  • If your mango puree is too runny, it'll sink into the pudding. Blend it thick and spoon it on gently so it holds its shape.
